PVC / PTFE Jacketed Stainless Steel Tubing & Tube Bundles
JW Industrial Solutions supplies PVC / PTFE jacketed stainless steel tubing and pre-insulated tube bundle configurations for industrial tubing systems that require protection, identification, insulation, or easier field installation. These products complement our seamless and welded stainless steel coiled tube portfolio.
Choose PVC or PTFE jacketing according to the project’s service and installation requirements. The jacket material, thickness and finished configuration are reviewed against the customer drawing. PVC and PTFE are different materials and are not treated as interchangeable specifications.

Stainless Steel Tube, Outer Jacket and Bundle Arrangement
- Fluid-carrying tube: stainless steel forms the metal tube. Its grade, dimensions and construction are specified separately from the outer protection.
- External jacket: PVC or PTFE forms the outer jacket in this product family. The selected material and thickness are reviewed for the drawing-defined application.
- Grouped lines and insulation: a multi-tube arrangement and any insulation are separate configuration choices. An external jacket alone does not establish thermal insulation or freeze protection.
PVC / PTFE Jacketed Stainless Steel Tubing
The published PVC option has a standard 2 mm protective polymer coating for tube protection and identification during handling and installation. PTFE jacket requirements are reviewed separately against the customer drawing and application. Tube material, dimensions, jacket material and thickness, color, coil or straight-length format, testing and documentation are confirmed for the order.

The clip illustrates the PVC option in the jacketed-tubing family. For the finished product, tube and jacket specifications are reviewed against your design drawing. View related tube inspection examples.
Pre-Insulated Instrumentation Multi-Tube Bundles
An instrumentation multi-tube bundle groups specified tubing lines within a common outer covering. Pre-insulated configurations can support steam transport, energy efficiency, and process-temperature maintenance. JW reviews the tube arrangement, materials, insulation, outer protection, length and terminations against the design drawing. Service environment information is helpful if available; there is no need to repeat details already shown on the drawing.
PVC / PTFE Jacketed Stainless Steel Tubing and Multi-Tube Bundle Selection
The base tubing, jacket and insulation have distinct engineering requirements. JW reviews the design drawing for tube construction, grade, dimensions and applicable standards alongside the jacket, insulation and finished assembly. Our team can discuss inspection and documentation during the project review; customers do not need to enter drawing details again in a separate RFQ checklist.
For routed assemblies, the design drawing is the basis for reviewing bend geometry, connections, terminations and finished lengths. Marking and packing can be discussed with the team as part of the project. Review stainless steel tube fabrication and prefabrication for drawing-based processing options, or stainless steel instrumentation tubing for related tube specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is jacketed stainless steel tubing the same as a PTFE hose?
No. In this product family, stainless steel forms the fluid-carrying tube and PVC or PTFE forms the outer jacket. A PTFE hose with stainless steel braid has a different construction. Jacket material, dimensions and service suitability are reviewed against the customer design drawing; PVC-specific values do not automatically apply to PTFE.
Does tube bundle mean a heat-exchanger bundle?
An instrumentation multi-tube bundle groups individual tubing lines within a common outer covering. A heat-exchanger bundle is a different assembly of heat-transfer tubes and supporting components. This page concerns jacketed tubing and grouped-line configurations. For straight heat-exchanger tubes or U-tubes, see our stainless steel heat-exchanger tubing and U-tube page.
Should I choose PVC or PTFE jacketing, or a pre-insulated tube bundle?
These describe different project requirements. PVC or PTFE may be specified for the external jacket, while insulation and multiple tubing lines define the bundle arrangement. The drawing establishes the required configuration; service environment and operating conditions can help JW review the material selection.
Can a tube bundle use stainless steel coiled tube?
Yes, the suitable tube material and construction are reviewed against the design drawing and project specification. JW can discuss the bundle arrangement with you; service environment and operating conditions are helpful additional context, if available.
How do I request a quotation?
Send your design drawings by email or through our industrial manufacturing quote page. Any enquiry format is welcome. Operating environment and usage frequency are helpful if available; a specialist will follow up with you.
